<p>3 prong flash suppressor, A2 dimensioned, with muzzle rise compensator, 1/2x28, crush washer included. Threaded for 1/2x28, precision machined from solid 4140 steel bar stock, heat treated and black nitrided, it is based on the successful 6315 compensator/flash suppressor. Its 3 and 9 o'clock ports are angled up at 8 degrees, and smaller than the 12 o'clock port so more gas is vented through the upward facing ports, it is a superior compensator to the A2, its flash suppression is superior to that of an A2, thanks to its open ended design. 1815 is compatible with M16 BFA and most A2 mounted sound suppressors.</p>
<p>Note that since 1815 does have flash suppression capability equal to that of an A2, it is to be treated as a flash suppressor for states that feel threatened by them, such as CA, MA and NY.</p>
