<p>The Recce series of suppressors are a long standing staple in the suppressor market segment.&nbsp;The 1st generation Recce suppressors were debuted in 2012 with the purpose of providing compact, durable, accurate, rifle specific suppressors to the market.&nbsp;These suppressors have received continued technology enhancements and revisions over the years to keep them at the tip of the spear in the suppressor market.&nbsp;The current version is the Recce 7® (MOD 5) which is our highest performing Recce suppressor yet.</p><p><br></p><p>It features our utility patented ECO-FLOW™ baffle system offering the apogee of multi-caliber sound performance.&nbsp;This baffle system reduces back pressure which alleviates much of the blow back through semi auto actions providing a more comfortable experience to the end user.&nbsp;This baffle system is tuned such that performance at the muzzle of the suppressor and the ears of the operator are balanced for a uniform and low sound signature in the immediate vicinity of the shooter.</p><p><br></p><p>Elite tactical units requested minimal flash signature and Griffin responded by expounding on the low-profile flash reducer integral to the suppressor end cap. This flash reduction device adds only a couple tenths of an inch in length and reduces first round flash considerably vs flat end cap (featureless) designs. The MOD 5 endcap maximizes gas flow-through with further improved flash mitigation.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p>Another notable improvement in the RECCE (MOD 5) family is the integration of the backward compatible Taper Mount-RI™&nbsp;interface (Rapid Index).&nbsp;The Griffin Taper Mount interface is a gold standard in the industry, providing secure attachment, and unbeatable accuracy to consumers for over a decade.&nbsp;This interface has been improved however, being 3X faster to mount than the original by engineering a precision indexing feature in the interface and using fewer machined thread rotations in a more optimal position within the body.&nbsp;The original Griffin Taper Mount took roughly 15 seconds on average to mount and the new system can be reliably mounted in 5 seconds.&nbsp;Accuracy, and POI shift have been improved while the secure attachment the Griffin Taper Mount is known for has not changed, resulting in a next generation Taper Mount-RI™, an ideal system built on over a decade of taper mount manufacturing and research.</p><p><br></p><p>The Recce 7® is fully CNC machined, and tig fusion welded from 17-4 stainless steel for maximum thermal transfer and unparalleled strength and durability. Every component in the Recce 7® is manufactured from solid, high temperature corrosion resistant 17-4 Stainless Steel, and then H900 heat treated to ensure maximum service life is provided. Years of internal testing has found 17-4 stainless steel to provide longer service life than 718 Inconel, the prior market leading alloy. 17-4 stainless is also twice as strong as cast Stellite 6, used by some industry companies. A Taper Mount EZ Brake is included, making the Recce 7™ a terrific value.</p><p><br></p><p>Overall SPL on a 12" 300BLK with Remington 220 Subsonic is 123DB, quieter than some 22 rimfire suppressors on the market.</p><p><br></p><p>Whether hunting your favorite game or rucking on a long range patrol the Recce 7® is the right tool for the job.</p>
