The inside lining is a heat resistant, non-melting material called Nomex, the same material integrated into the suits of firefighters. The exterior is Cordura 1000 and the interior is a heat-absorbing carbon felt, perfect for sustained fire on semi-auto rifles. The ODIN Gear Suppressor Mirage cover was made to fit various rifle lengths, with nine different lengths to choose from. When you receive your ODIN Gear cover, the fastening cord will be long enough to wrap your cover in a variety of ways, or if you prefer, custom cut to your desired length. </p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p>The ODIN Gear mirage cover is used to reduce the heat waves that radiate off your suppressor and block your in-scope line of sight. As the rifle is fired more frequently in a semi-auto fashion, the hotter your suppressor will be, creating more heat mirage radiating off your suppressor.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p>Experience the difference with our intentionally designed space between the Nomex interior lining and our Cordura exterior material. This unique design feature provides better heat absorption when compared to thinner mirage covers in the industry. Our dual-fastening system truly locks your cover in place with a shoe-lace style fastening system that spans the entire length of the cover. Further setting the ODIN Gear Suppressor Mirage Cover apart is our Kevlar fastening system around the diameter to prevent the cover from sliding off, while also preventing melting of the mirage cover material.</p>
